Ann Curry

Ann Curry is an American journalist and photojournalist who has been reporting for more than 45 years, focusing on people suffering from the aftermath of natural catastrophes and war zones. Curry covered the conflicts within Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo, and Central African Republic. Ann Curry is a journalist anchorperson for television, reporter and anchorperson that was born on the 26th of June 1956. Her best-known role in Today is an National Broadcasting Co. morning news broadcasted program. Curry is well-known for her reporting of emergencies and disasters that affect the human condition particularly in nations affected by conflict. Curry was born in Japan and brought up by an Japanese mother. Her father served as a U.S. Navy sailor. Her father dated the mother of her in Japan as a stationed there following World War II. Due to her father's military duty, the family travelled frequently. Curry was able to complete her high school studies at Ashland Oregon. Curry graduated from the University of Oregon awarded her a bachelor of arts in journalism. The diversity of her experiences and experiences during her upbringing likely influenced her empathetic method of communication regarding global issues.
