In July 2014, Nikki Bella was in the same handicap contest as Summer Rae Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes Summer Rae. Ariana only was there to face Nikki Bella. In the Battleground's pre-show she got the chance to play Naomi. Ariana won the match. Their rivalry was born in the aftermath. As of the summer of 2010 They fought each against each other in several singles and handicap events in addition to tag team fights. Ariana was in matches against other wrestlers such as Paige Bella twins Alicia Fox and Asuka. WWE confirmed Ariana was released from contract in 2016, after a two-month period of inactivity.
